L F R I ~

Thank you to all who have generously donated items for St Mary’s Loaves and Fishes ministry. Your gifts are greatly appreciated by those served. Ongoing needs are for small toiletries of all kinds, especially deodorant, razors, and feminine hygiene products; new ladies’ underwear and men’s boxers in all sizes; men’s white or black socks; and adult backpacks. As warm weather approaches we will need sneakers and summer shoes for men and women as well as summer weight tee shirts and shorts. Men’s and ladies’ jeans are always in short supply. Caps and belts are very useful; and bath towels are popular.

Clothing can be dropped at the rectory during open hours.

The next truck deliveries are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday April 29 and 30. Food preparation for these deliveries will be in the rectory basement at 9:00 on April 29. Donations of hard boiled eggs or cookies are very welcome and can be brought then.

Loaves and Fishes greatly appreciates your support and always welcomes new volunteers.

SAVE THE DATE
St. Mary's Annual May Procession and Crowning

THIS IS THE YEAR OF MARY! The most Blessed Virgin Mary is the patron Saint of our Church. She deserves our love and honor always but this, her special year, all of us need to truly show her we care and go out of our way to let her how thankful we are to her for all the blessings she bestows on this parish and upon each of us.

We are all busy, we all have "stuff" going on, some of it is bad stuff, most is good stuff, but most of us can reprioritize all that, if we have some advance notice.

I am here to ask you to save the date of May 21, 2017 and attend 11:30AM mass for the May Procession and Crowning of our Lord's Mother, our patron Saint, the lady who always makes time for us, MARY!
This announcement gives you almost one month to put Mary first on your list of what you should be doing on May 21 at 11:30AM.

Just do the right thing and I promise you, your heart will feel full,

Mary will smile and her son will be pleased.

If you know of a person who is going through an illness or time of need, and
feel a prayer shawl would lift their spirits, stop by the rectory and make a
request. Lap shawls, shoulder wrap shawls, and adult and child shawl
blankets are all being worked on through our prayer shawl ministry.
