Many people have commented on the new handrail on the top of the front stairs - so far all positive. We have removed it for a funeral and it worked very well. You might have noticed our new flag pole in the front of the rectory. It is taller and straighter. We are in the process of having our air conditioning checked and with its normal spring maintenance performed. The new church sign is still in our plans but first we must make needed roof repairs. I hope the drone makes its flight over our church.

On behalf of Father Barry, Deacon Paul and Mary Ann Allen, we wish to thank all 200 of you who made our May Crowning such a beautiful event. Our patron Saint and most Blessed Mother smiled upon all who came to honor her. Our parish was proudly represented by Sarah Healy, our beautiful May Queen and her honor court of Faith, Ms. Colleen Miller (2012 May Queen), Hope, Ms. Michelle Lanctot (2015 May Queen) and Charity, Ms. Marcella Mazzenga. These young ladies are wonderful Christian role models.
We also are so blessed to have a music ministry that has this much talent, the music filled our church and our hearts. This was a great week for our Music Ministry with the incredible Mary Concert on Wednesday and then to perform again during the May Crowning.
Donations were made by Irene Head in memory of her sister Grace Lucier, Margaret Marston in memory of her Mother, Mary Ferguson and Mary Ann Allen in the memory of her Mother, Elizabeth Betres. Also a donation of $200 was made to go towards Father's electrical outlet.
THANK YOU to all the parents who guided their children to participate in the procession. The children absolutely made the Procession so very special! Children always make such a positive difference, again thank you!
Thanks also to Nat Squatrito who always is so willing to offer his photography skills to help us add memories to our parish history.
A special thanks to Pat Lannan, Ligia Martin and Margaret Marston who every year are so kind to help facilitate this wonderful tribute to Mary.
And finally, many have mentioned how lovely our side altar of Mary looked and especially the grand grotto and its arrangement the talents of a tireless Sylvia Waghelstein and Bob Costa are responsible for all the beauty.
Our Blessed Mother is very pleased.

There are still open dates for this year and bookings are being taken for 2017. This is a nice way to have your deceased loved ones remembered. The lamp burns for one week and the cost is $15.00.
Do you know someone who could use a little lift? Perhaps someone who is sick or sad? Why not fill out the form in the back of the church to have a card mailed to them? Who doesn’t love to get mail that is not a bill or junk? No cost just a little effort and time – it’s worth it!
ARE YOU REGISTERD? Are you thinking about becoming a parishioner or simply not registered? It’s as easy as going online to our web site www.stmarybristolri.org and click on the register button! You will receive a welcome letter within a week. If for some reason you don’t, please give the office a call during regular business hours.
If you know of any of our parishioners who would like to have Holy Communion brought to them
